ALGIERS- Renault Algeria announced, in a press release, the partial recovery, after a period of shutdown, of the car production at its factory located in Oran.

Renault Algeria announced the official resumption of production activities, almost 7 months after their suspension which occurred in June 2021. This partial takeover of Renault Algeria will concern the production of 4,500 new cars from 3 brands: Symbol, Clio and Sanderos. According to a source at Renault Algeria, quoted by Echorouk, all of the cars that will be produced will be intended primarily for customers who have already placed an order, while the rest of the cars – including those whose customers have withdrawn – will be put on sale at level of Renault showrooms across the country.
