Algeria to participate in 16th Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum in Istanbul
ALGIERS-Algeria will participate in the 16th Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum scheduled for 25-28 January 2022 in Istanbul (Turkey), announced the National Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (ALGEX).
This forum, in which a number of Arab ambassadors and consuls in Turkey will participate, is organized by the Arab-Turkish Business Association (TURAP), in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, Algex said on its website.
The Arab-Turkish Cooperation Forum is an exchange platform that promotes investment and partnership in order to consolidate cooperation relations between Turkey and Arab countries, the agency added.
To this end, Algex invites all economic operators operating in the fields of construction, real estate investment, construction materials and technologies, interior decoration and furnishings, to submit their applications to take part in the the 16th edition of the Arab-Turkish Cooperation in Construction & Real Estate Investment Forum, as well as the 7th edition of the Building Materials, Technologies, Interior Design and Furniture Fair.
Operators arem thusm invited, according to the Agency, to “actively participate in the State’s strategy aimed at opening up to new horizons of investment and export, and to seize partnership opportunities in the sector with Turkey and all the countries participating in this event based on the win-win principle “.
On the sidelines of this meeting, meetings of Algerian and Arab businessmen will be organized within the framework of the 7th edition of the exhibition of building materials, technologies, interior design and furniture, underlined the Agency.
Algex, also, recalled that the fifteenth edition of this event saw the participation of 226 Turkish exhibitors, in addition to 957 companies and businessmen from 22 Arab countries, including Algeria, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Lebanon, Egypt, Mauritania, Somalia, Sudan, Tunisia, Oman, Jordan and Morocco.
This edition also saw the participation of other non-Arab countries, notably Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova and Russia.
The edition recorded the holding of more than 15,000 bilateral meetings, some of which resulted in the conclusion of bilateral trade agreements.
The forum aims to further strengthen the partnership between Turkish operators and their Arab counterparts, to be materialized on the ground through bilateral meetings (BtoB) which will be held on the sidelines of the forum, between the various Turkish and Arab companies participating in its activities.
